On arrival, reception was quite friendly and informative. The snack bar on offer was quite cool and the ambience was also nice. The room itself was also quite nice and very dark at night which made it easy to sleep. I definitely recommend. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

When many hotels are losing their personality and becoming automatons, woolstore 1888 by Ovolo is an exception. Not only is the location primo and the decor on trend (which would easily give it 5 stars in and of itself), the service is second to none. 6 stars to the team, especially Becky. After a horrid and unsafe air bnb experience, I got in a cab after midnight and googled Pyrmont hotels. This came up and prices were reasonable, so I gave it a crack. Staff were flexible, welcoming and helpful. When the air-conditioning in my room played up, they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Things go wrong but it is how one deals with them that separates the great from the average. I will return, and look forward to trying other Ovolo hotels. Trendy and aesthetic hotel with clean rooms. Beautiful staff and lovely location. Bicky and Kiki at the reception are so friendly and I was impressed by Kiki’s Korean. I would love to stay again in this hotel for my next trip to Sydney. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Great value
