Came here with my dad when he was in town. Decided to randomly come here after trying to find a Mediterranean restaurant. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is in a nice part of Lakeview and is pretty popular. We ordered the calamari which was really fresh. We also got the lamb shank, the chicken Santa Sofia, and the Pera special. I'm usually very picky about how well I want my meat cooked, but they got it pretty spot on. Everything was delicious and the yogurt was a great compliment to the dishes.

Pera Turkish Kitchen & Bar is definitely home away from home. The owner is also the operator, which is clearly reflected in the beautiful dishes that he makes from scratch. Both kitchen & service teams pour their hearts into what they do.The food is made to order, which explains the wait time - however, it is definitely worth it. The restaurant is the perfect place for a family gathering, date nights, private parties, as well as, business lunch & dinner. The elegant ambiance, professional staff & a wide selection of wines & cocktails at the bar make this restaurant the perfect place for a memorable afternoon or evening. They also have a beautiful pet friendly patio, brunch on weekends, relaxing music and complimentary Turkish tea.This place, certainly, deserves more than five stars!
