I get this is a tourist trap but we were desperately hungry and had been turned down by at least 3 places because they were slammed. We were seated quickly because no one was really stopping by. We quickly asked for a seafood stew and French onion soup to start while we figured out what we wanted to eat. The soups arrived relatively quick and this would be the only fast service we got during our visit. My seafood stew had no joke 2 tiny pieces of shrimp and it tasted more like canned tomato soup. My dads French onion soup was watery but at least had flavor. We ordered 2 sangrias (white) while we waited for the waiter to come back to take our food order. I was a bit shocked since the sangria had cinnamon sticks in them ( I'm allergic to cinnamon and who puts sticks in the sangria???). It had a weird taste where you couldn't really pin point why it tasted odd. Finally the guy came back and we ordered the grilled octopus and the Bacalau with cream. We waited at least 20 minutes for the main course and were HANGRY by the time it came out. My octopus was actually pretty good. Needed salt but it was edible. My dads Bacalau was DELICIOUS! It almost looked like a Mac n cheese dish but the flavors were magnificent. Then when it came time for the check it was another easily 25 minute wait! We were antsy and had to go find the server who took his sweet time. The outside patio is cool but I wouldn't suggest wasting your money here. Unless you want the creamy Bacalau because that is the only worth while dish.

Delicious fish, nice stuff, very nice place :)
The food is meh at best, service is very slow and with poor English but it's right outside the train station and in immediate proximity to the beach so they lure you in.
