The Paper Mill looks dated, needs an overhaul, chairs that you sink into, leather backs are worn and tattered, paper lanterns are needing a good clean, also lots of cobwebs on the wiring, curtains ripped. Used to have rave reviews, but badly needs some tlc. Staff were lovely tho. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Not a great choice foodwise although no complaints about the Mac Cheese just the pile of salad leaves on the side. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure Parking space: Plenty of parking

Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough! The food, the idyllic location and the staff were superb. Get a table on the terrace and enjoy the river views! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40
