Service was great!! The food, not so much. Catfish had ZERO flavor. When I asked the server about it, she said it's a pre-mixed batter. It didn't even taste like it had salt and pepper. I sent it back for some fried shrimp. They didn't properly de-vain it so it was pretty much a waste. My friend had salmon which was on point!! Don't think I will return to this location.

Pappadeaux is almost back to its pre-covid greatness. Obviously, the prices are much higher, but the food quality is good, and the portions are reasonable/large. We had the crab & spinach appetizer $25, the halibut special for $50, the lunch portion ginger glazed salmon $30, and the bread pudding for dessert $12. Both fish entrees were tender and tasty. The shrimp topping the fish was a bit dry, but favorful. Service was exceptional given the labor shortages all restaurants are facing. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. I recently dined at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen and found the food to be absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. However, I was disappointed by the service. Our server seemed to have trouble keeping track of our requests - our side order of carrots never arrived. What's more, they forgot to acknowledge my wife's birthday, despite mentioning it in the reservation. The server was also difficult to locate when we needed assistance. While the culinary experience was great, the service shortcomings left a bit of a damper on the overall evening.
