Nice pub, exceptionally rude staff. Just popped in for a few drinks but decided to go somewhere else after receiving incredibly rude service by those at the bar. Much nicer places nearby, would avoid. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Went here to watch the England vs Argentina match and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it. A friend of mine arrived during half-time and was refused entry. That’s understandable, as the doors had been closed. However, the way the situation was handled by a member of the security team, who said his name was Sam, was completely unacceptable. While we were speaking with the manager, he was extremely aggressive, repeatedly swore at us, and kept putting his hands on us in an attempt to move us away. As a group of young women, we found his behaviour intimidating and completely unnecessary. There was absolutely no need for that level of hostility or physical contact. It was a genuinely unpleasant experience and showed a serious lack of customer service and hospitality. We expected to be treated with basic respect, even if the decision to refuse entry wasn’t going to change. I have attached the security guard in questions photo for reference. ((I take it back I heard it's full of speedo's)) Pubeon the Park in Hackney is a glowing pocket of earthy song and spiced sunlight. I took my cat, Moonchild, in spirit only (she doesn’t enjoy crowds, but she would have loved the cosmic purr of this place). The **Pimms** — oh, the Pimms — is like drinking a garden's secret dream! Berries float like tiny red planets, herbs whisper in lemon dialects, and the ice sings when it melts. It is *divine*, like a nectar brewed by bees in a parallel summer. The **outdoor seating** is a meadow of joy stitched into the city’s bones. People glisten with smiles and cider. A **child danced**, I think in 7/8 time, just near the acacia bush, and I felt the air join his rhythm. The sky above us was folding itself into pinks and golds like origami made of breath. And the staff One of them sang when she served our drinks — not loudly, but with that soft ? lilt that makes your toes want to clap. he called me “pal,” which made my heart grow an extra chamber. In conclusion, Pub on the Park is not a pub — it is a living creature, humming, fizzing, and laughing under the sky. I give it five out of five purring Moonchildren.
