3-star hotel in the absolute middle of Patong. The location can't be better with it's own backdoor to Bangla Road only for hotel guests. The hotel is probably managed by chinese since the interior is exactly like a typical hotel in China. I assume it was built in the 80s, but I'm not sure. There are some things I dont like and one of them is the two olympic style pools with absolutely no palm trees or any shadow whatsoever. For a scandinavian guy like me it's impossible to have a swim in the sun without any shadow for long, so I will choose another hotel for the rest of my stay. And I miss the baked beans at the breakfast which except for the lack of that was ok. I actually got used to the chinese style and that is ok, but I prefer a more modern look. Anyway this hotel was probably a 5-star resort once but then it most likely turned into a charter hotel and now I would grade it a 3-star resort. It's just missing a great pool bar, service and the lush vegetation these hotels normally have. But with that said, the location is exceptional. It's in the absolute centre and you can reach the beach, shopping and party area in minutes. Some of the staff is very nice but some in the reception seems a bit angry. All in all I think it's worth the money so I do recommend a stay here if you go to Patong and want to stay in the city centre. #patongbeach #patong #patongresort #banglaroad #patonghotel Rooms: Outdated and old but well maintained. All is working but don't expect the latest design. It's like a trip 40 years back in time Nearby activities: Bangla Road, Jungceylon shopping, Patong Beach, Night market, restaurants etc. Everything is close. Safety: Safety box in the room Walkability: Absolute best location in Patong Food & drinks: There are bars and such but no people there. Tried to get a milkshake in the lobby bar but they did not understand so we never got one, or perhaps they did not have one. Noteworthy details: Olympic style pools with no shadow anywhere... Highly recommend this hotel! The hotel is dated but still functioning well, and it’s the only con I could come up with. For pros: Best location at Patong. This hotel locates at the heart of Patong, and it has three gates, each leads to Bangla Rd, Patong beach and Junceylon mall, all within walking distance. We didn’t take any taxi for all activities within Patong. Huge campus, it has two residential areas with two pools, so ensuring quiet stay even at the center of Patong. Unbeatable price. Only ~$100 for the Christmas-New Year weeks while Holiday Inn is above $200 and Four Points is $300+, Crazy Patong Phuket The breakfast was good too. Plenty of varieties spanning western, Thai, Chinese and vegetarian station. It should be one of the best choices at Patong if you want to enjoy the lively life at Patong while desiring a quiet, convenient and quality place to sleep. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5

Have stayed at Patong resort many times and have always loved it. Stayed recently and was disappointed that the "vibe" is no longer there. It's not the fun vibrant place it once was. The staff is wonderful and the location to popular patong hot spots can't be disputed but the facilities have been "let go" and it's appearing a bit run down. Again, staff and location are excellent, so it's just needing some love to bring it back to its once former excellent spot! Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5
