The BEST meal I have ever had. The atmosphere is amazing and Paul is such a personable and passionate chef. He puts such a creative twist on all of his menu items and his ingredients are incredibly fresh. I could not recommend this place enough!! I found a penny on the sidewalk and thought, "a lucky day"... Fast forward to finding Paul's Place in Hilo, which was truly my lucky day find! It's important to note, you MUST HAVE RESERVATIONS to enjoy Paul's Place experience. After chatting with a local couple, they recommended Belgian waffles. Paul has spoiled me for any other waffles, forever. I will travel far and wide for his waffles. Also, the fish sandwich was beyomd perfection. The mixture of ono and ahi has spoiled my husband's taste buds and raised his bar of approval!
