Food was good, but we were seated by the servers’ work station where five staff members congregated and bickered loudly with no regard for customers nearby. Management should train them that customer service is not just carrying your plates out and doesn’t end once their check has been paid. When addressed one said “We have no other place to go”. How about there is no appropriate place to bicker about your job while on the clock? For the prices to eat out in this economy such lack of staff awareness makes eating out just not worth it. Peach Valley cafe is located on Granada Ave. In Ormand Beach, Florida, on the north side of the street. The service was ok, and the food was average. The reason I lowered the overall star level was value. The prices are higher than the other similar places in the area. A single pancake was $6.50.
