Very disappointing. Apple fritter used to be my favorite. Now it's overly fried, over the top with cinnamon. Most of the others we got had chewy dough and flavored like old oil. Used to love this place. So sorry Service: Take out Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

I have been going to Peterson since I can remember My mother held a part time when I was a baby so I want to say I was a little disappointed when I went to go buy my favorite donut the old fashioned and they informed me it does not get made until 9 pm I'm not a night person I hope they can make a batch a little earlier but great staff love the shop can't wait to see the factory Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I visited Peterson's Donut Corner in Escondido for the first time yesterday with my husband. We were excited to try this place. As mentioned, this was our first time here so naturally we weren't familiar with the menu or how things are operated here. From the beginning the young lady helping us was not very helpful. We ordered items and she would say "we don't have that" in an annoyed tone. I asked if my croissant could be warmed and she said "I guess", again with an attitude. When she returned I asked her if I said or did anything that offended her and she ignored me. I asked or her name and she responded "I don't have a name". I asked for my receipt and the cashier name listed is "Chelsea". I tried to talk this out with her in person like adults but she got super defensive and started arguing with me. I don't like leaving negative reviews, I believe in communication and giving the business the opportunity to work it out privately but, unfortunately, this could not be accomplished with the young lady assisting us. I hope this review reaches management to address customer service concerns and ensure a pleasant experience for all customers.
