It's the last day of 2020 and my family and I are sick of being home, it has been raining for days but we decide we will venture out and head across the bridge to Pike Place Market. My son and my husband were set on having ribs and I had been craving those awesome turkey legs you get at Disney. I knew Pike's Pit had them but I never tried them. We pass by and decide to walk around a little to build an appetite. We finally decide it's time to eat so we go to order and it turns out they just ran out of Turkey legs!. I'm kicking myself because they had them when we first passed by. The guy at the register tells me they are smoking more and might have them ready just before they close at 4 pm. So I decide I will be back then and hope for the best. In the meantime the rest of my family feasts on ribs, they got some sweet and some spicy, and they are all amazing! Finally at around 3:45 I walk back to find out if the legs are ready... and they are! By then I was pretty hungry. I pay and chat for a little bit with the 2 guys that work there while they pack my to-go order and as I am about to leave they tell me they packed an extra leg because I had to wait. What? It's my lucky day for sure and I am so happy that's how I spent the last day of 2020. I don't even wait to get to my car before I open one of those beauties and start chowing down like a cavewoman on a humongous, smoked, delicious Turkey leg. Thank you Pike's Pit Bar-B-Que.
