This is the best spot near Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Japanese cuisine is famous around the world and visitors advise you to taste it at this restaurant. At Pinku, order good fried prawns, fried salmon and pot stickers. Nothing can be better than ordering perfectly cooked rice cakes and tasty pancakes. It might be cool to enjoy delicious craft beer, liqueur or wine. If you like tea, order it at this place, it's great here.

Unique take on Japanese street food! Some classic tastes and some others that are different. Brings me back to Japan for sure. I highly recommend the Okinomiyaki, the Katsu Curry, and Karaage.

With all that's been going on, I wanted to participate in the #LoveLettersToLocal campaign to support one of my favorite restaurants that have been holding steady with takeout and delivery options during COVID-19. Dear PinKU Japanese Street Food, You have always had a special place in my heart since you first opened in 2016. Where do I start? With the food of course. Your Japanese cuisine is authentic and skillfully made, and I know it's always fresh because you don't even own a freezer! The seared salmon on rice cake is so savory, the crispy shrimp is light and crunchy, your sushi handrolls are thicc and full of flavor and texture, and your gyoza are just plain perfect. I love when you introduce specials that are hard to find anywhere else, like okonomiyaki and wagyu on rice cake. But just as great, if not better, than the impeccable food is your team behind it. Owners John and X are so accommodating and supportive of the community. Your service at the restaurant is always welcoming and informative, you advocate for Japanese culture, you support community and local businesses, and celebrate people of every background and identity. It warms my heart that you've prepared balanced and bright meals to schools across the country and raised money for local causes. Even during COVID-19, you continue to serve our community safely, sometimes even surprising patrons with confetti if they're celebrating a special occasion with PinKU delivery!
