Where do you actually start? Platz im Herzen is now a very well-known restaurant in Frankfurt. Rightly so(!), because when you look at the Instagram Stories it looks like fun and entertainment! Let's come to reality: email traffic was very bad! You have the feeling of being a number, as if the employee used copy and paste to process the issue. 5-6 emails were sent for a reservation. That was tedious...One positive thing to note is that when you made your last request via Instagram, you received a personal call. Then came the long-awaited visit to this restaurant. The receptionist was a bit unfriendly/annoyed with us. Despite the vaccination, a rapid test was required. But the emails said that some could be done on site. This was not the case and no notice was even given. So we had to go to Bergerstr. And check out all the supermarkets/drugstores, where unfortunately everything was sold out!!! It was only in a cell phone shop (where we asked randomly) that we found what we were looking for! If it hadn't been for this, our visit would have come to nothing! That annoyed us very much. Then we went into the restaurant and the service employee led us to a table at the end of the room, where you hardly notice anything and added: “until 8 p.m.!”. It was also explained in the emails that 2 hours per table were allowed! But what!? Due to the stupid organization we still had to get tests. So we still had exactly 1.5 hours. The restaurant itself is nice, but you don't really notice anything of the spectacle! After ordering we still had 1 hour to eat. That means we couldn't order an appetizer or dessert! The side dishes were delicious, but unfortunately the meat was just cold!!! So not lukewarm but cold. The waiters were all friendly and funny and lightened the mood a bit... nothing to complain about here. You can overlook missing supplements... that can happen. There wasn't a DJ or a show or anything else where we could say "wow, I have to go back there!" You're just a number here! A number that can stay for 2 hours... Given that we wanted to make a friend happy because it was her birthday, I unfortunately have to say that it was more stressful and mass processing than a nice experience. There will be no further visits for us. Addendum: the owners want the negative reviews to be deleted. Thank God I can prove that I was actually there. After being checked by the health department (which I would recommend everyone read up on), they are now trying to improve their image.

As many have mentioned, more show than restaurant. You either want superficial fuss or you want to go out for a delicious meal. We probably won't come back. We didn't know anything about the hygiene disasters, otherwise it would have been resolved anyway. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
