We were excited to have a meal by the lake on a sunny afternoon. We enjoy sharing nachos and so ordered the basic plate with a side of guacamole. They brought a basket of chips and salsa (very thin). They also brought the guacamole which they made fresh and that was delicious and where the one food star came from. It cost $11! The menu describes a “generous portion” of the nachos for $16 but it was not. There just wasn’t any toppings a couple shreds of cheese, not really any ground beef (just the grease giving a weird flavor), a few shreds of lettuce, black olives and pickled jalapeños. The sour cream was generous. It was not a “sharing” portion without the free basket of chips. We left disappointed and did not see much value for our $32 bill. There was also some sort of extra charge on the bill which for a club fee? No clue what that was but ended up paying cash to avoid the 4% electronic payment fee. Service was friendly and prompt, even though we heard them say they were really busy (they did not look busy at all). Great location on beautiful afternoon, maybe the rest of the menu is deliciouswe couldn’t see giving it a chance. Good place to meet for a few drinks, probably.
