Not only should Monument to Jaan Tonisson be visited, but also Restoran Polpo. The French cuisine is nice at this restaurant. It's a pleasant experience to taste good salmon, soup and chicken. The cooks here prepare tasty fruitcake, Pavlova and panna cotta. It's a must to try delicious beer or good wine when visiting Restoran Polpo. You will be offered great lemonade.

One of the best restaurants in Tartu. Visit this, if you want the casual fine dining experience in a place which still has a bit of the old "Humal" (Hops) restaurant vibe, being there during the soviet era - one of the most popular beer and dining places in the town and cherished even nowadays.We tried variety of dishes which all were delicious, accompanied with high level service. Despite having a student waitress, we enjoyed it and all of our questions were answered well.Beware - the sizes of the dishes are relatively large, which for a place like this is unusual - one recommendation, make them smaller so next time I could have a dessert as well!

I absolutely love the dedication of these cooks. The food is delicious and presented beautifully. Also, I have tried the best Daquiri in here ????????
