Absolutely wonderful service! I accidentally ordered the wrong thing and then they mixed up the order but it their response was so kind we offered to pay for the extra food we got but they insisted it was fine. Food was delicious as well wonderful service! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We found the Pommes Boutique in Mirabellplatz as we were hoping for some vegan/vegetarian options, and when we arrived were helped by a young man who wanted to take our order. He was quickly pushed out of the way by his boss, who said that we were confusing him, and so we told him what we wanted. Our German is passable, and we haven't had many problems communicating with people during our stay in Salzburg, but he seemed to get very irate at our requests, and reply sarcastically to any enquiries (such as if something contained milk, or if he could provide condiments such as ketchup or mustard) that "everything is hand-made", and proceeded to ignore what we asked for, and take what he thought was best. What claimed to be a vegan burger was actually a few slices of oily deep fried aubergine, and the fries, apparently so reputable that they named the establishment after them, were also oily and unpleasant. As we sat with our food, the boss proceeded to sit nearby, smoke profusely, and complain vociferously to people around him. Unless you particularly enjoy being abused while being served sub-par food, I would certainly advise avoiding this place. Dietary restrictions: They have a state-mandated allergens descriptor on the wall, but seem unable to answer any questions about specific dietary needs.
