Having relocated to Oxford a few years ago I can honestly say that one of the best things about living in Summertown is Pompette and the incredible food, drink and service on our doorstep. We have eaten here to celebrate special occasions as well as sneaking in weekday lunches plus we bring the children (aged 10 & 12) on the weekend and every time we are blown away! Food is fresh and the menu has signature dishes like fish soup (incredible) but alway has new and interesting dishes to try. According to my husband they also do the best steak in Oxford! Always a wonderful atmosphere and the best staff in town, we think this is one of the best places to dine in Oxford. The fact that it is also owned and managed by a wonderful couple who really care about the menu and the food really adds to this unique local experience.
