This fast food and Asian Hollywood-Media Asia can be both really attractive for tourists. The Cajun and Creole menus attract guests who are in search of positive impressions. Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen offers you tasty southern fried chicken, coleslaw and bean rice. Good biscuits are what a lot of tourists try here. It's nice to taste great coffee.

The accommodating staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Terrific service is something that people note in their reviews. You will appreciate democratic prices.

As I took a step forward off the plane into a new world literally across the planet in Hong Kong as I had six hours to kill during a layover, anything was possible--especially the vast array of culinary options, all of which define generations upon generations of culture. What quintessentially Hong Kong food would I eat? Delicious Cantonese noodles with dumplings? Roast duck, or maybe some roast pork with the skin perfectly crisped? No. Not unique enough. Instead, I would choose the most obvious candidate at Hong Kong International Airport. Popeye's. Popeye's, located on Level 7 in the Departures area, is a worldwide icon, and I couldn't pass on the opportunity despite literally hundreds if not thousands of locations in my home country. At a pricepoint of about $9 USD, the wings, cole slaw, pepper fries, and Coca-Cola was a steal compared to the gourmet Japanese ramen and Cantonese delights which would easily empty your pocketbooks. OK, who am I kidding? It's Popeye's. I was super hungry, and the line was like 1/100th of McDonald's. Don't worry, I ate some good Cantonese food later. Accepts most credit cards/HKD; they can speak English so don't worry; the food was great quality and less greasy than that of the States. And also, if you read this and ate here, definitely let me know because we are now together in this exclusive club.

Finally tried the famous Popeyes at the HK International airport... what a let down... Writing this review as I try to make sense of their buttery biscuit (HK$10) and breakfast combo A (HK$39). Combo A consisted of a chicken tender, a scoop of scrambled eggs and two sausages, plus a cup of coffee/tea. I opted for tea. And added a biscuit to go with my breakfast. Upon opening the breakfast set, I immediately regretted not going to Tsui Wah for my hot noodle soup breakfast. The scrambled eggs looked miserable, the sausages - dear me, some strange color that just spelled mystery meat, and the fried chicken tenders that were OK. Soft and tender but nothing spectacular. Maybe I ordered wrong, after hearing all the raving reviews from friends saying they go to Popeyes every time at the airport.   The biscuit was warm at the beginning but cooled down. I found it to be quite salty, and after I complained to my friend, he messaged me to add honey. Honey to my biscuit? There was no honey on my tray. What a disappointment. Perhaps the only redeeming party of my sad sad breakfast: the cup of hot Lipton tea. Popeyes at the airport, way overrated. Even McDonalds tastes better.

They have mushroom rice here-- steamed white rice topped with mushroom sauce, paired with spicy chicken wings. Located at the food court.
