We chose to eat at the White Bear on a whim simply because we were visiting the area & it served food later than some other establishments. However, we will definitely go out of our way to eat there again. Our meals included a starter, 3 adult meals, 2 children's meals & 3 deserts, all of which were of outstanding quality. It is difficult to appeal to all tastes & to consistently produce high quality food, yet all of us expressed that our meals were amongst the best we had ever had. The chef(s) certainly knows their trade & how to create dishes that are full of flavour. Additionally, it was greatly appreciated that there were varied vegan options that were the unique to the White Bear. The service was also excellent, attentive, friendly & faultless. We left feeling sublimely happy & we are looking forward to our next visit. As an aside, on our way in we had walked from the car park through the outside seating area. It looked beautiful in the dark with the way the string lights & plants had been arranged to create a peaceful space.
