After a walk around Schlanke Mathilde, many visitors stop by this restaurant. Try tasty fillet steaks and perfectly cooked beef. The high ratings of Meat Atelier wouldn't be possible without the courteous staff. Spectacular service is something that visitors highlight in their comments. The homey ambiance has been highlighed by the clients. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, this place deserved 4.3.

The food was very, very good, even if the iberico, which I actually wanted, was unfortunately no longer available. Otherwise I can agree with the reviews regarding the service, a bit inattentive, very short and plates were already cleared away while my companion was still eating. Can recommend it, but don't necessarily have to come back. As I said, the food is delicious! Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The Meat Atelier is located in the basement of a large department store in downtown Düsseldorf. You don't necessarily expect a great restaurant and yet that's exactly what happened: a really great dining experience! To be honest, it was only a second choice because we wanted to go to a neighboring award-winning restaurant, but they were already reserved and kindly recommended the MA to us. Before entering the restaurant you pass the refrigerated counter with the various cuts of meat and if you are not vegetarian, vegan or just completely full, it will be difficult to just walk past. But there is also fish and seafood of similarly good quality. That's how we did it, as starters Mediterranean pulp and salmon tataki on tomato avocado salsa and as main courses (meat): Australian ribeye and Wagyu bavette. As expected, everything was of the highest quality and very well prepared. For the basement in the department store there is a small star deduction for the ambience, otherwise there was nothing to complain about, the food was very good, the staff was very friendly, everything was great!
