Once the promenade around the Riga Town Hall Square is over, visit PROVINCE. Gluten-free cuisine is a must-order one at this restaurant. You will be served perfectly cooked yellow pea soup, potato salads and herring. Many visitors come to degust good crepes, spoon sweets and bread pudding. You will enjoy delicious draft beer, mulled wine or ale at PROVINCE. This place is known for great tea, coffee or juice.

Too touristic, food was ok. Great location though. The rye bread was super great, the peas soup in the bread was ok, not amazing. The place is overpriced in general. So the food was really good, had the pea soup which comes in a rye bread bowl (hollowed out with soup inside, 6.30 €) and the homemade meat dumplings (7.20 €). The service was quick enough. The only complaint is the place is small, and there isn’t much seating, so if all the tables are occupied, they’ll just say sorry we’re full. There’s another Province restaurant right next to it that might have room though.
