This is not your typical Vietnamese spot - it is definitely more upscale (which also means it’s a bit pricier) but you get what you pay for! Most of the food here is super delicious and there are a number of interesting fusion style dishes as well. The pho broth here is one of the best I’ve have in the city - super rich and flavourful and the large size is huge!! We also got the chili lime wings which were super tasty and fried to perfection. My husband ordered the Tom Yum Seafood linguine which I wasn’t super impressed by however the portion size was generous and the fried soft shell crab on top was a nice touch. The service was ok - not the friendliest or most attentive staff but they get the job done. Overall this is a great spot to check out if you’re looking for some creative Vietnamese inspired food!

Definitely wanted to leave a big Thank You for the staff of Pure Modern Asian Kitchen & Bar. They recently had a wing night a couple days of go. They were delayed and we had to end up cancelling the order. Now, everyone is probably thinking why I am giving them 5 stars? Businesses, just like people make mistakes all the time. We aren't perfect. We received two phone calls the next day from the staff being apologetic regarding the order and seeing what they could do to fix the situation. I just wanted their delicious chicken wings so I wanted the same deal for Friday. They were fine with that. When I got my order, they surprised us by adding 2 fried rices (very delicious) and 4 spring rolls (to die for) to the order. They had one of their staff to personally deliver my order to my house as well which was a great touch. We never asked for the extra items but it was extremely nice to see that the true character of the staff operating this business. They really care about their clients and lets be honest. Everyone here is a foodie if they like this place. 10/10 service and food!!! Keep up the great job.
