I visited a couple of weeks ago and was surprised to learn they have the same owner as Sapa because the service was terrible. We sat at the bar and our server acted like he could not be bothered. There were two other servers behind the bar who we had to wave down to get any service like utensils to eat. Our server disappeared towards the end the of meal. There was no explanation and he never came back for the drinks I ordered. This all happened after we waited over an hour to get our brunch. Truly disappointing. The food was fine, but not worth the wait or the careless staff. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I had an amazing brunch experience at Purgatory Bar! The Coma Bowl, Pork Belly Carbanera Udon, and Chicken Toast were all incredibly delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced and each dish was cooked to perfection. What made the experience even better was our amazing waitress, Beth. She was super friendly, positive, and gave us some great recommendations. Thanks, Beth, you rock! The atmosphere of the restaurant was great too - cozy and welcoming, with a really cool decor. The service was prompt and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, I would highly recommend Purgatory Bar for a delicious brunch experience. You must be 21 or older to enjoy!
