Puri Chveni, a Georgian establishment in the heart of Dnipro, offers a delightful dining experience with its authentic cuisine and charming ambiance. The interior design is warm and inviting, with traditional Georgian elements adding to the overall atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, making it an excellent choice for families or groups.
The menu boasts a variety of Georgian specialties, such as khinkali (steamed dumplings), hachapuri (fresh baked bread stuffed with cheese), and lagman (a rich soup). The black, spicy khinkalis and the trout in pomegranate sauce are particularly noteworthy. The wine list features a wide selection of Georgian wines, while the bar serves up creative cocktails and soft drinks.
The service can be hit or miss, but the friendly staff does their best to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Puri Chveni also offers outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying a meal on a sunny day. Overall, it's a fine dining spot that shouldn't be missed when in Dnipro.
I used to visit this establishment often. We took khinkali and khachapuri, drinks - it was tasty, but it took quite a long time to prepare. Very often there are no free seats. This time I decided to book a table for lunch for colleagues. They called back after 40 minutes. At the last moment, the girl informed about the "reservation conditions" - the table will be reserved only on the condition that each of the guests at the table spends at least UAH 1,200! But even in such a tone, as if I should have known this (I did not see any such conditions on the site), I am facing this for the first time, in my opinion it is strange and inappropriate. Like, I can't book a table just to drink a glass of wine and taste khachapuri? Service: Dine in Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Хинкали Ассорти, Хачапури По-аджарски
On March 9, 2024 at 1:30 p.m., we were in the center of Dnipro and wanted to have lunch at this restaurant. When we entered, there were free tables. A waitress approached us. We expressed our desire. The first thing we were asked was if we had booked a table. We answered no. Why did they tell us that they couldn't accept us, and then they refused to visit the toilet room, as if it wasn't working at that time, about 20 minutes later. They just received us very "hospitably". In a nearby restaurant, we were warned that a table was reserved for 4:00 p.m., and we received a warm, homely welcome. For which they were grateful, which cannot be said for the Puri Chveni restaurant at 4 Sichovy Striltsiv, Dnipro.
