I was so disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I’ll chalk it up to- they were probably short staffed. They definitely looked packed and we did have dinner reservations. Fortunately we were seated on time. However, it took a while for a staff member to take our order (20 mins) and when he arrived, he only wanted to take our drink orders but we insisted on putting our entire order in since we anticipated it will take a long time to get it. The main courses came out first and the APPETIZERS came 20 minutes after the main courses were served. That wasn’t the upsetting part. The food, in my opinion, was too salty. We ordered 2 entrees and 3 appetizers and they were all so salty. The truly worst part was our drink orders never came. Even though we inquired and reminded the staff that we were still waiting for our drinks during the 2 times our food was brought to our table. They offered to bring the sodas when we wanted to pay the bill and leave, but we were done with that place! They were kind and courteous and I’m sure embarrassed about the long wait times and inadequate service, however even if the staffing met the business needs, the food did not win us over :( And, sadly, even for a terrible experience, 20% gratuity is automatically charged to the bill. Hi R, I would like to extend my sincere apologies on behalf of Purple Patch and my team for the less-than-satisfactory experience you had at our establishment last …Hi R, I would like to extend my sincere apologies on behalf of Purple Patch and my team for the less-than-satisfactory experience you had at our establishment last night. There are clearly several steps that were missed last night and that is entirely our fault - and receiving your honest feedback is very helpful to us. We do value both the quality of our food and our service and I'm truly embarrassed that you were not the recipient of our best. I have spoken to both our kitchen team and our front of house team to address these concerns so that such issues do not occur again. I do hope that you are open to giving us another chance and we hope to see you again! Warm Regards, Bridget Gill General Manager Purple PatchMore

I've been here a couple times and every time we had an amazing experience but I went a day ago for my Girlfriends birthday and we brought a bunch of friends that has never been here before and it was the worst experience I have ever had! We bought a cake and called ahead asking if it was ok for them to hold the cake. The person on the phone said that they charge 20 dollars to cut the cake. We asked what if we cut it ourselves all they need to do was hold it for us and the person on the phone just said idk talk to the manager. We asked again if we would be charged in which he responded talk to the manager. We tried to get the manager on the line but wasn't able to so we just walked in with the cake. By the end of the dinner we brought out the cake and sang happy birthday and the our server comes over to us and said they normally charge a fee for the cake but it was ok this time. The manager then comes up to us and was extremely rude and aggressive. We told him we don't mind paying we just didn't appreciate him coming up to us not even a hello and just go off on us. That ruined our night and we no longer felt comfortable inside the establishment. If this is the type of person you have managing your restaurant I do not ever want to come back. My friends who were first timers here had such a bad experience I had to apologize for bringing them here. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I was hoping Purple Patch would be incredible given its super high ratings. Unfortunately, the food did not match these sky-high expectations. The lumpia and halo-halo were great, but the chicken adobo was very disappointing. It wasn't particularly special.
