Not authentic Japanese ramen and karaage at all. The kara miso ramen has kimchi in it (?) and karaage was ginormous and served without mayo (?). They are not tasty at all. I don't understand why this shop is so hyped in Hamburg...

This restaurant is pretty good! I visited Ramen Bar Zipang on Saturday night at 6.30pm. There was already a queue but I was able to get a table within 20 minutes. I ordered a bowl of fried chicken and a chashu shoyu ramen. I enjoyed the fried chicken very much, however, although it was crispy and succulent, it was a tad too greasy for it be perfect. I also quite enjoyed the ramen. The ramen stock was thinner than what I was expecting but the portion sizes were great and the ramen was still tasty. At the end of the meal, my ramen cravings were satisfied.
