Been to ~10 different ramen restaurants in the Bay Area and Ramen Nagi is #1. The quality, taste, and portion sizing are far superior. I ordered the chef's recommendation + egg + seaweed (see pic). If you like a little more spice, get a 2-3 on the spice rating (it's 1-10 scale) to see if that's what you like. at level 3, they add chile powder, so that you get a sense of how hot it might be. I'm also a big fan of their chashu rice and edamame appetizers.Experience:I've gone maybe 5 times, and each experience has been delightful. The last time I had a party of 7, which is a bit harder for them to accommodate, but they made it work out. They patiently helped answer all of our questions while in line waiting. It's one of the better customer experiences I've had at any restaurant. The line is always long for a reason. If you're wanting to try it but don't want to wait in a long line, try going on a weekday right as they open.My one request from them is that they add heaters for outdoor dining because it can get quite cold in the evening.

First time here, and it definitely met my expectations. The Red King broth has a little bit of spice that isn't overwhelming (tan tan men). Noodles were firm like I ordered, and the chashu was tasty as well. Service was friendly and the food came out very quick. Now I know where the go to spot for ramen is in Palo Alto.

Pretty amazing. Very tasty ramen, and I recommend their chashu rice and their karage.
