I do not recommend. Sururu broth is totally different from the Northeast. In this restaurant it is a cornstarch broth with 3 sururus. Believe. Surreal. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Rancho Nordestino is an honest family run restaurant which serves typical northeastern Brazilian food. All dishes are freshly prepared when ordered, nothing is cooked in advance. Portions are well served (one dish serves four) and the food is really good. They also have a variety of local and imported beer and different kinds of "cachaça" which you can try. Don't let prices scare you; as portions are generous, the average amount paid per person is quite reasonable (around R$ 30 to 45/person) and they also have cheaper individual dishes. If you like northeastern Brazilian food or are curious to try it, I recommend the place. I had a great time talking to the owners, who work there and come to chat from time to time.
