I grew up eating King Cakes during Mardi Gras in Louisiana, so when I moved to Texas, I immediately began to appreciate just how good those amazing purple, green, and gold cinnamon cakes were after having so many disappointing King Cakes from Texas. That's when I realized that if I wanted a taste of home, I'd have to order King Cakes to be delivered from Louisiana and the best and only place that's worth getting the King Cakes shipped is from Randazzo's Camellia City Bakery. When it comes to the packaging, Randazzo's has it down to perfection. The cakes are shipped with 2 day delivery and the box that they come in allows the cakes to come in one piece, not melted or sloppy from being moved all around. I always order a Cream Cheese filled cake and a Plain cake. The Plain cake was the favorite from everyone in my family that had a slice. One of the reasons is because the cake is so good to where it doesn't need the filling to take away from the flavor. Another reason the Plain cake is better is because this cake has sugar crystals instead of just icing. All in all, this is the best King Cake out there and I wouldn't recommend any other bakery to place orders from!
