We had a terrific group dinner at Rao Restaurant last night. Juan from Cuba was our wonderful host and helped our party order an amazing tapas sequence. The cocktails were great, especially the Cuban Soul. The Sea Bass ceviche was very delicious and the sweetbreads were a surprise hit. Thanks for the lovely dinner and all your hospitality. Rao is a fantastic restaurant! There were 3 of us and we were seated at the bar as we did not make any reservations. That was the best seat in the house! Chris, the bartender was excellent. Took our orders, made excellent recommendations, explained the dishes to us when it came as well as made excellent sangrias and cocktails. All in all, Rao is a wonderful place with good food and a fantastic bartender. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Barcelona!
