I had a very disappointing experience at Restaurant Kronborg. I waited at the entrance for around 15 minutes, during which a waiter acknowledged me but asked me to keep waiting. However, when a Caucasian customer arrived after me, they were immediately greeted with a smile and shown to a table without delay. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. The difference in treatment was very noticeable and honestly quite upsetting. I chose to leave rather than continue waiting under those circumstances. It’s disheartening to encounter this kind of behaviour in this day. I hope the management takes this seriously and reflects on how all customers are treated. Dear Belle To better understand the situation, may we ask whether you had a reservation, or if you arrived as a walk-in guest? We always seat guests with reservations first, and when guests arrive without one, we need to check availability or whether tables will become available shortly. This can sometimes result in a short wait at the entrance.We genuinely enjoy welcoming guests from all over the world and take great pride in showcasing our Danish restaurant and cuisine to visitors.
