After a lifetime of going to Casa Mayte, and without any problems, yesterday the attention at Mayte left much to be desired. We have always entered, not once or twice, many many times, with our dog in a small carrier, and they had never said anything to us, they had even interacted with him and they had told us that it didn't seem like there was a dog, because he falls asleep and doesn't bother us. Yesterday, the person in charge of distributing the tables at the entrance. (A tall, bearded gentleman) and an arrogant man with an air of superiority, and with great malice, pushed back a table of 12 people, for carrying a 6 kg dog in a closed carrier. With a society increasingly more sensitive to pets, it seems that we come across the most subnormal. Apart from his bad ways, leaving us for liars and laughing in our faces, he literally left us without any possibility, and the dog alone in the car cannot be left because it is illegal. If he had explained the situation to us in a good way or with empathy, the taste in our mouths would have been less, but we found a person with evil in his words and a lot of arrogance. People like this should not be dedicated to the hospitality industry, and should let those who deserve it work. More than 15 years coming to Mayte for its food and without any type of problem, not even on the numerous occasions that we have entered with the dog, and today we will stop going, due to the bad actions of whoever manages it. If you want a quiet meal without people shouting and children screaming and running around the restaurant bothering people, this is not the place. What will bother a sleeping dog in a carrier more than children screaming and running around in a rude manner without any care from the parents or those in the restaurant? This is how the world goes, and I hope karma comes to that person, for being a bad person.
