After looking at Waterfall at Molla, have a meal at Retrolykke Kaffebar. You will be served Scandinavian cuisine at this cafe. Retrolykke Kaffebar offers you tasty gat, soup and sandwiches. Try good waffles and perfectly cooked chocolate marshmallows. It's nice to order delicious lager. Great milkshakes, latte or apple juice are waiting for you at this place.

A warm and cosy place, perfect to go for breakfast, brunch or lunch. We loved the vintage style, the mix and match tableware and the whole atmosphere of the café (all the decorative elements in the shelves are for sale!) The food was very nice too and the prices affordable. We had some hot chocolate and the traditional waffles with butter and Brunost (iconic Norweian "brown cheese"). All the waitresses were very kind and their vibe really matched the aesthetics of the café: friendly and open-minded Kid-friendliness: It's a family friendly place and kids will surely love the whole atmosphere Wheelchair accessibility: It's easy to access with a wheel chair from the street since there is a ramp and everything is on the ground floor. The bathroom was also wheelchair accessible and adapted. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As a previous reviewer mentioned, this is such a great concept and I wish I had thought of it! I love all things retro and mid century, and I love hot drinks and treats too, so Retrolykke Kaffebar is a natural fit! The proprietor was so friendly, and she was curious about where I was from since I was speaking english. I told her Seattle and she thought that was cool. She also showed this interest in a young couple that came in a little after me... they too were from Seattle and had just moved here like me! The gal exclaimed this was definitely meant to be! And I agree! Anyway, I ordered the Varm Sjokolade (hot chocolate) I can easily say it's the best I've ever had. It was a huge cup meant for slow sipping while browsing the cool vintage items displayed for sale. I enjoyed my time at Retrolykke Kaffebar. It was so good, so cozy, and so friendly it can easily be a regular stop for me.
