My bf brought me over there for my BD celebration ????

At first beginning, I wasn’t amazed by the menu and atmosphere as I thought it will be another ‘Charcoal Bar’

However! It’s really nice to share place to go with you bf or friends. The most amazing dish is the traditional philippic chicken leg stewed in their simple but yummy soup. ({uid:78740554} has shared the ingredients in his review)

Overall, I love it and will try to imitate there dishes at home! Get my hands dirty!!
Happy birthday {uid:43981877} We celebrated BD with fine filo cuisine here. First time two. It was quite impressive!

Salmon inilaw is very lit with the dressing. A good dressing with fresh ingredients makes the dish really special.

Veggie Adobo has a sweet and savory glazing. Beans are a bit tough but the eggplant was perfect. Mushy and flavorful.

Stuffed squid was fresh with nice chive cream dip. The soy ginger sauce was too strong so I did not eat that.

Chicken adobo was the big dish that came last. 4 large drumsticks bathing in a devious sour soup of onion, potato, lemon, vinegar, soy sauce, bay leave. It is so simple but tastes amazing! The chicken was grilled first then stewed in the soup. Meat is tender, make sure you have it with the soup!

Sailor Jerry rum, ummmm tastes just like rum. Not much to say other than the buttery taste. We also shared a bowl of rice which was a match made in heaven with the chicken broth.

Service was very very good. The staff were enthusiastic about their work I could tell. Table spaces are a bit cramped and light is very dim in here. Looks like a small bar from the outside. Lovely visit overall!
Good food, good vibe place. Very slow service and overpiced for the portion of each plate.
