Come here for a drink after a long walk around William R. Heath House. If you are fond of Thai cuisine, visit this restaurant. Have a good time here and share nicely cooked shrimp spring rolls, tom yum and pineapple fried rice with your friends. Rin Thai Bistro should be recommended for good pudding, mango sticky rice and peanut butter pie. Delicious liqueur is worth a try here. Get your meal started with great ice tea, thai iced tea or coffee.

Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is said to be competent here. This place is remarkable for its fabulous service. Here you will pay attractive prices. There is a comfortable atmosphere and fine decor at this spot. Trip users rated this restaurant and it gained 4.5.

Very quaint. Excellent food. The only negative for this place is that it really small inside the blast of cold air from the door require you to wear a sweater.
***3.5 stars*** My first foray into the Elmwood Village area. It seems like an up and coming part of the city when numerous hip restaurants and cafes. Rin Thai is one the better reviewed Thai restaurants in town. It's a small restaurant with a small outdoor seating area. I ordered a chicken pad thai for myself. The food came out quickly and the portions were decent. It was good, but not amazing. I thought the pricing was a bit expensive ($14 for lunch pad thai chicken, $17 for lunch pad thai shrimp). I think I would be able find better and bigger pad thai elsewhere for less. I also found the street parking situation a little tricky, that's why i'm giving this place only 3.5 stars.
The office needed catering for an event.  Years ago I used to always go to The King and I Thai restaurant on Kensington avenue. the owner's name there was Rin so when I found Rin Thai bistro in Buffalo I knew that was a place I had to order.  I placed an order by phone for chicken pad Thai a garden salad and sesame chicken to feed 15 people.  I ran over to pick up the food, the restaurant is a cute little place nicely decorated and could probably seat about 20 people.  Back to the office with five trays of food she also supply chopsticks forks knives napkins and plates.  I think there was enough food here for 30 people! Everybody loved the items even people who said they didn't care for tie went back for seconds. I can't wait to stop and again and try a sit-down meal with Rin and her staff!
