Famous margaritas have been watered down? Used to have a deep color and when they came out they were clear as water. Either cutting corners or bartender sucks at making them but the whole reason for going to the Rio seems to be gone

Lost their way a long time ago. $30 for poorly executed chicken fajitas? Spicy salsa was good. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Eric, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Glad to hear you liked the salsa. …Eric, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Glad to hear you liked the salsa. I wanted to apologize that the Chicken Fajitas were not to your liking. We do our best to source the highest quality foods and prepare them fresh everyday. I hope you'll give us another chance in the future to impress you. Best Derek More

Wife and I went downtown Fort Collins to see Christmas Light display - Nice. We walked into Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant to eat, on a Saturday night, since we liked it last time we ate there. Holy All Saints Day. Half of Fort Collins must have been there - a very popular place - with lots of large groups waiting for tables. We waited 45 minutes, then got a table in the smaller, less noisy back room, with Bradley the waiter. He made it worth waiting for, and continually apologized for the long wait. He was very helpful with everything. I ordered appetizer of guacamole, which was good, but mild on the chile flavor. Wife ordered the Silver Coin margarita, I ordered the house margarita, frozen. Her drink was good, mine was mild. . mild, perhaps because I ordered it frozen instead of regular. Wife ordered the crab and shrimp enchiladas, I ordered the chicken enchiladas. The black beans, instead of refried pintos, were surprisingly very good. Most restaurants serve them tasteless and slimy. Also the rice had a very good flavor, a good flavor we couldn't quite identify. My enchiladas were great as usual. The crab/shrimp enchiladas were fair, a bit fishy tasting. I still highly recommend this restaurant, as does half of Fort Collins that night.
