Been here a few times, it's hard not to praise the lovely beautiful place and the fantastic service as well as the new owners. Here you get a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. 1000 thanks We look forward to seeing the renovated rooms. The view from this place is lovely, but that's about it. We booked this place since we're on a road trip through northern Italy and have an electric car, as it states online (and we called ahead of time to make sure they had an EV charger) that they had one on-site. We got there, and both chargers were broken with the staff not knowing how to help or offer any suggestions. There were two other EVs there too trying to get them to work with no luck. We were there for two days, and they didn't work for either of the days, so we ended up having to drive down the hill and explain to another hotel (that had EV chargers) that Residence San Michele's were broken, and thankfully they let us charge there for a few hours. Next, the building is really long, but the wifi router seems to be in reception by the parking lot, which I'm sure means the wifi works great if you're in a room near reception. We were down in room 18 at the end, and had 1 bar or no wifi the whole time, and since you're at the top of a mountain the 4G doesn't work most of the time either. During the day this was ok because we were out, but in the evening we had some work to do and couldn't even send an email. Finally, although the room had all the kitchen amenities we needed and was clean, we were woken up each day by the sounds of drilling coming from the basement entrance (conveniently next to our bedroom window) plus we had no hot water the whole second day we were there. Safe to say, we won't be back. Service: 3
