I love this place and these folks. Husband and wife have always been very pleasant and boy is the food great. I think the negative reviews from the out of towners just means they are used to being in the big city. I have an idea "stay away"

Ok. Today's drama with the NO DRAMA mamas(a fb group of female friends) We were meeting for lunch at the Rockin' Roadrunner. Two ladies beat Karen Parks and I there. As I was walking in with my Yeti (y'all know I take it everywhere), I noticed the sign about no outside food or drink. Karen was already inside, greeting our two new friends. As I stepped inside to get the keys from Karen, I was met by the female owner and scolded about my drink. I said I know and proceeded to walk towards Karen and group. She stepped I front of me and repeated that my drink wasn't allowed. I spoke as plainly and a bit louder this time that I knew, but I needed the keys (I might have said f'n keys) from Karen! I got the keys, took my drink out and put it in the car. I was about to sit across from Karen, and was mouthing and gesturing "did you see that?" She had no idea what I was talking about. I mouthed that I'd tell her later. She says "you wanna text me?" I told her I'd tell her later. About that time, the owner walked up behind me and ordered us to leave that they weren't going to serve us. What the what?! Yeah. So the four of us got up and walked out. We stood in front to wait for the others that said they were coming. She then came outside and ordered us to LEAVE! That she was calling the sheriff! Told her to GO AHEAD! She stood inside, in the window, and took our pic. (I waved, of course) Karen had to go inside and give HER 2 cents... all the husband had to offer was "it's a bad day... brush it off"... I really hope there wasn't a death in the family, or something... other than that there wasn't ANY reason to treat us like that! It was just wow... Our new friend, Jett, had to go back in for her say too! She just wanted her to let our friends know we weren't allowed to eat there. Lady told her "you won't come in here and tell me how to police my business"... wow. Thanks Black Dog Sandwich Shop for saving our lunch plans! We will never be back to Rockin' Roadrunner. By Amy G.
