Stayed the night on business and was reminded what friendly and honest northern hospitality feels like. Supper and breakfast were delicious and a very comfortable sleep at the very cosy Melbec room. Back soon! Service: 5

Went for dinner with my with and can honestly say it was one of the strangest interactions we've had in any restaurant for a very long time. Two of the staff made us feel very uncomfortable by their demeanour and unwillingness to raise a small or help with ordering. The food was very average and we couldn't wait to leave. Service: 1

Had a superb experience this past weekend as we made The Roebuck Inn a part of our wider wedding celebrations. Booking out all available rooms, each were clean and refreshed each day, the food for both breakfast and dinner of a high quality, and the members of staff across all 3 days were welcoming and no request a chore. Highly recommend! Service: 5
