Incredibly friendly staff and delicious food with a nice atmosphere. We are not vegetarian but this was our favourite restaurant on this trip. Conveniently, we were staying in the nice Airbnb directly upstairs and as such were given an additional 10% off the bill. This was the only place we considered eating in more than once on our trip, though this is not a jab at other establishments, just a statement to how much we enjoyed our time here.
Cold food. Disgusting bathtroom. Joke of a service.
Between the food (which was delicious), the location, which was charming, and the staff (who were AMAZING), Rotas was by far the best place we went the entire time we were in Ponta Delgada. The whole atmosphere of the place is so whimsical and cozy, and the staff was so friendly, genuine, and proficient! You HAVE to have a reservation to eat here if you're a vegetarian visiting the Azores, but even if you're a meat-atarian, you will not regret a minute of the time or a cent of the money you spend here. 100% recommend to anyone visiting Ponta Delgada!!!
