Good day out for lunch, I chose here as I've been before with work for our Christmas meal, and the menu suited our group of 7 with plenty choice. Nice relaxed atmosphere and everyone enjoyed it. Edit, Another visit to our favourite place in Edinburgh for lunch (29/12/23) and steak pie was my choice, very nice as always. Treated my mother in law and sister in law for lunch as a Christmas present and we all enjoyed our meal and drinks in the usual relaxed atmosphere. Being regular visitors the food was slightly less quality than previous visits, however doesn't put us off and hopefully back to normal next time. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £100+ Recommended dishes: Steak and Ale Pie, Haggis Neeps and Tatties, Sticky Toffee Pudding

Absolutely loved our meal here at the Whiski Rooms! Came here with the other half for dinner and neither of us disappointed, had so much food and loved every bit of our meal! Can highly recommend the haggis spring rolls to start! I then had the Scotch Steak Pie, and the boyfriend had the haggis burger - both were really nice. The burger was huge! But Mark pushed himself to eat it all as he loved it so much haha, he wasn't;t going to leave any! We decided against a cocktail for palate cleansers, and opted for a light creme brûlée and the Cranachan for dessert. Again, we polished the lot of as we didn't want to leave anything! The food was so good, and we both decided this was the best meal of the weekend! The lady who served us was lovely, pleasantly chatty and all staff seemed happy. Overall, it came to £45 each for a shared starter, and a main, dessert and drink each. Good price for a great dinner! Would definitely recommend the Whiski Rooms on the Mound for dinner ! And can't wait to return!
