Have been here in the past and enjoyed the food but yesterday all 3 of were disappointed. The smoked meat sandwich was actually terrible. Maybe 1-2 slices of thin dry meat, and not even a teaspoon of sauerkraut. It was all bread. Mom ordered a tuna sandwich and was never asked but it arrived well toasted. She was disappointed as she prefers un-toasted. With the prices up and the food quality down we won’t be back. Four of us enjoyed lunch at the Runways Cafe. My smoked meat sandwich was excellent and fries nice and crispy. Lunch special was chicken BLT on bun with brocolli cheddar soup (soup if the day). Service was excellent and fast. Make sure to check times, as restaurant is open from 8:00 a.m. for breakfast and lunches and closes at 3:00 p.m. Closed on Sundays. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Schnitzel on a Bun
