Dicious food and nice staff!
Good stop for your Iceland trip if you are in Reykjavik for multiple multiple nights.
Very disappointing. Me and my friend went to Sæta Svínið during lunch and one thing after another lead me to disappointment. First of all the music is very loud. My friend had a lobster soup and a course of common ling. The lobster soup was not just lobster, it had scallop and some other fish in - I am not intending that they hide it - it clearly says in the menu but that still is not a lobster soup. My friend had not finished her soup when the waitress brought the common ling course and since there was no space on the tiny table she had to hold her dish while she finished - I think the waitress felt bad as she watched until she had finished to remove the dish from her hand as soon as she had finished. The common ling course had also only 3 mouthpieces of cold potatoes on the side - I am not sure if they are trying to be fancy but if so, it is not working. I had a burger and it was good but still the bread was big or normal size while the meat was 1/3 of the size of the bread making the burger 2/3 bread 1/3 meat and toppings. To be honest my experience was very poor and not worth the expense. Feel free to try but I recommend not to waste your cash for this as Iceland is full of amazing restaurants.
