Sailor Sam in Knysna is a true hidden gem. Located conveniently close to the police station, it offers delicious and well-priced seafood that is sure to please any palate. The menu includes a variety of fish and chips, prawns, calamari, and other seafood dishes, all served with either rice or chips. The owner, Rueben, is a delightful character who is always willing to have a chat and provide excellent service. The freshness of the seafood is evident in the taste, and the prices are very reasonable. Whether you're looking for a quick takeaway dinner or a sit-down meal, Sailor Sam is the place to go. Highly recommended!

I gave Sailor Sam 2 stars because I felt the portions were smaller than average Fish & Chips establishments. Otherwise a clean store and good customer service.
