Right after visiting Chinatown, come here for a meal. Enjoy Japanese cuisine at this restaurant. You will be offered good salmon nigiri, fried oysters and katsu. To taste tasty ice cream and nicely cooked cheesecakes is a truly good idea. You may come across comments that wine is delicious here. It's time to degustate great tea.

Stopped by here for lunch and they did not disappoint. Best hamachi sashimi I've ever had! Also got some salmon sashimi that was wonderful. Ordered a Titanic roll which was great. Shanghai soup dumplings were okay but a little sweet for my liking. Rainbow roll and the ruby fat roll were pretty good as well. Overall awesome visit and would absolutely go again. Visited Sakura Bistro Tapas & Sake Bar in Chinatown to celebrate a friends birthday and to support local businesses during a time of need (couple days before the shelter-in-place). The staff are friendly and very attentive. With our group of 7 (2 kids) we ordered a bunch of rolls from the regular menu and on the happy hour menu our server remembered every single dish we ordered without missing a beat. The only items that she forgot was our free fish taco rolls that you get when you check in through Yelp but, by the time we were done we couldn't have eaten any other roll. I usually stray away from restaurants that have Bistro in their name because they're usually not that great because the menu is so large to cater to a bunch of people that the quality goes out the window. Surprisingly, Sakura's food tastes wonderful even with their extremely large menu. They found the perfect combination of pretty good ratio of pretty good quality and large offerings in their menu. Paired with an excellent happy hour menu that lasts quite a while and run through every day of the week.
