Second-hand books at great prices :) I'd like to go again and enjoy a coffee + snack in the café. Friendly staff as well! The book of the image was 16 AUD and it's in good conditions.

Sapphire is a labyrinth of wonderment for those who regard themselves as cool. A fabulous assortment of literature and non- fiction to please the most varied of interest and a cafe serving great coffee and delicious food at reasonable prices. I recommend Sappho Books, Cafe and Bar

Tuesday nights at Sappho Books, Cafe & Bar they hold an open mic for performers, be it music, poetry and/or anything resembling a ‘performance’. Just turn up half an hour before show time and put your name down. Usually you will get a spot, however occasionally the performers can outdo the spots so it’s first come first served. Friendly and warm environment with staff who are chilled out to the max and eager to give everyone the opportunity to perform. Bar food and a substantial restaurant style food. Prices are within reason and the bar serves the usual suspects at regulated prices. Great outdoor seating under the stars with trees and sparkling Christmas lights to set the arty mood. Small space that provides the vibe of a tight knit artistic orientated patrons. Fun evening and very easy to access from downtown Sydney. Regular bus service to and from downtown. Great place for a first date! Charming and smooth as glass.
