We came in on Memorial Day and when we arrived around lunch time it wasn't crowded at all. By the time we were well into our meal it was pretty crowded, like a couple people waiting for tables crowded. We started with the crab cakes and crab pie. The crab cake had too much filler in it. The crab pie was delicious! It's filed w/ crab and some cheese and comes in a pie crust. Very tasty! We ordered the low country boil, regular size, added crab legs for around $9 and peeled & deveined shrimp, for an added $2 or $2.50, and the fried fish and shrimp combo. All the Seafood was good, fresh and well-seasoned. Well, the fish could've used a little extra shake of seasoning but it was good. Everything was cooked just right, except the fries, which were a bit over cooked and heavily seasoned when we requested a lighter dusting since they couldn't do 1/2 reg & 1/2 Cajun fries. I'd definitely return and order everything again except for the crab cake. I didn't get to try the rolled ice cream but look forward to doing so the next time.
Delicious food at affordable prices! Long lines, but they move quickly! Great service! My husband and I ate there two nights in a row!
Definitely one of the best meals I have ever had in Savannah. We had the 2 person seafood boil, which was crab legs, crawfish, shrimp, mussels and clams with potatoes and corn on the cob. Would def recommend only if you have a big appetite. All of our neighbors' food also looked delicious, I saw some of the fried baskets and Lowcountry boil. Prices were incredibly reasonable! Will be back!
