+ Something different - The food is a departure from the norm (in a good way).
+ Good food - The food has been fine every time I have gone. No complaints.
- Not filling - I don't feel very full afterward, and thus not completely satisfied. Maybe this has more to do with the American diet with which my body is more familiar. However, I don't eat a lot, and I would consider myself skinny.
- The deal - I don't feel like I get my money's worth. I think this is a combination of the price, the "not being full" I mentioned above, and, to be honest, the simplicity of the dish. I'm sure a lot of work and expertise go into the dish, but in the end I still view it as a stew over a starch.
Do I recommend it? I say give it a shot and see if you like it. At least go and try the fufu. And be very careful about the hot sauce they give you. Try just a drop at most (literally) before you add any to your food. It is very potent!
