Absolutely delicious! Had reservations for 4, seated early and our server Sean approached us promptly and our drinks were ordered. He was attentive thru or entire visit and suggested many options. . We had an array of delicious appetizers followed by a variety of well prepared main dishes. My lasagna was a large portion of a well balanced, perfectly cooked piece of love. There was also a huge T-bone steak ordered that was cooked and seasoned to perfection. And the 4 pieces of cannoli finished the evening. Bravo Scopa, will surely visit again. Last week I dined at Scopa Italian Roots in Venice, CA. I visited with a few friends to celebrate a going away party, and the food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Raw Brussel Sprout Salad, Ricotta Crostini, Crispy Squash Blossoms, Creste Rigate Pasta, Cavatelli with Italian Sausage, and Pappardelle. Each dish was wonderfully presented and bursting with flavor. The preparation of the dishes was evident in every bite. The service at Scopa Italian Roots was also excellent. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. There was also a gentleman there who helped with our wine choices. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, with a cozy and intimate vibe that made us feel right at home. But if I had to choose a favorite dish, it would definitely be the Pappardelle. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was absolutely delicious. It was a truly memorable dish that I can't wait to go back and enjoy again. Overall, I highly recommend Scopa Italian Roots to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Venice, CA. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Five stars all around!
