The Co-Op is a perfect representation of the hippie culture of the Seward area, often pretentious, but well-meaning. The hot-bar is diverse, serving up favorites from Latin America, Ethiopia, and the American South. If the mustard pulled pork is on the menu make sure to pick some up. The salad bar is great, don't miss the stuffed grape leaves, and be sure to try the Seward Goddess dressing, it is the best ever and I sometimes just buy containers of it to take home. I love that I can buy a single egg if I need one for a recipe, but don't like that if you want lettuce your only option is a $4 head of the organic stuff. All in all a great place and I am happy to have it nearby. Don't forget to read the comment and request board in the eating area, you won't believe what some of these people come up with.
